Lowham Walsh LLC (Lowham), a subsidiary of Ecology and Environment, Inc., is an engineering and environmental consulting company seeking a motivated Senior Environmental Scientist or Engineer to establish an office in North Dakota. Lowham, based out of Lander, Wyoming, and our affiliated companies provide environmental planning, permitting, and compliance support to oil and gas companies throughout the Rocky Mountains and internationally. We are leaders in water management for the oil and gas industry throughout Wyoming and the Western United States. The North Dakota location will provide multidisciplinary environmental services to major oil and gas companies operating in the Williston Basin. Our successful candidate must have excellent client development and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
Technical, managerial, and marketing lead for engineering and environmental projects
Developing and implementing business development plans for growth of the oil and gas business
Selling and providing a full range of environmental services to key target clients
Regulatory agency consultation
Preparing and overseeing environmental documentation
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory policies and professional standards
Strengthening the Lowham brand in the North Dakota region
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (Master’s Degree preferred)
Professional Engineer certification a plus
A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in upstream oil and gas with strong technical skills in engineering or environmental services; management experience in environmental consulting preferred
Demonstrated ability with business development, consultation, and effectively managing client relationships with strong client leadership skills; existing industry contacts in the North Dakota region a plus
Experience with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) environmental applications and permitting for pipeline systems and LNG preferred
Experience with successful proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations preferred
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic planning skills
Ability to travel to support projects, marketing activities, and client needs
