Job Description
Responsibilities:
• The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing a range of commodities from raw materials to MRO items to support multiple manufacturing operations.
• Responsible for obtaining competitive quotes, issuing purchase orders, receipt confirmation, follow up on backorders, etc.
• The Buyer must be able to organize a heavy workload in order to meet various production schedule deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Must have “best value for the dollar” mindset and continually drive for improvement in services and cost.
• “Customer Service” attitude toward both internal and external customers is a must.

Experience:
• Three+ years previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing and/or fabrication environment.
• Experience with oilfield or energy equipment manufacturing highly desirable.
• Purchasing experience with structural steel, valves, and other energy-related manufacturing commodities preferred but not required.
• Previous experiencing with purchasing software/systems.
