The Air Compliance/Advocacy Advisor is responsible for advocating the clients positions on regulatory agencies and providing compliance support to the refinery i
Primary Functions:
Provide compliance support to the facility, including analysis of regulations, applicability determinations, and permitting consultation
Advocate on positions on regulatory issues to regulatory agencies either directly or via trade associations. Focus is on use of accurate data, scientific principles, and risk and cost benefit analyses
Support compliance assurance processes, including
Regulatory Analysis within 30 days
Regulatory Interpretations & Guidance
Compliance Support Tools (checklists, workshops, manuals, database)
Compliance assurance systems, procedures,
Provide enforcement support to manufacturing the refinery
Preferred candidates will have:
General knowledge of manufacturing sites
Demonstrated environmental advising/consulting experience
Ability to plan and negotiate
Demonstrated ability to influence and promote change
Knowledge of air quality control and air monitoring
Knowledge of compliance assurance systems
General knowledge of emissions control
Advanced knowledge of environmental permitting
